Just need a little advice.
:truck: I am clocking my 208tc which is mated to a th400 and I want to know if I could run sold motor mounts (existing rubber mounts are on their way out) with a solid tranny mount or should I retain the rubber tranny mount for any reason at all. This 86 k30 is not a DD so vibrations thru truck won't bother me.

You'll probably break the transmission case. Run poly engine/tranny mounts if you want something to last.

You can run solid engine or solid trans but not both. There has to be some flex somewhere or hard parts will break.
Just use some good polys and call it a day.
