Motor Installation

I'm installing a 383 into my Blazer. The fenders,hood and radiator core support have been removed.

I would like to know if its possible to install the motor, trans and transfercase, all at once? 700/208.

I'm concered about the weight of the trans & transfercase being to heavy for the bell housing area.

Has anyone done this before?

I put a new motor in a while back and thought the same thing. I decided to do it in sequence (engine, tranny and crossmember, tcase)

I agree, with the 700, I wouldnt want the weight of the tcase bouncing and putting stress on the bellhousing. Just take the time and do it right.
