ok. i have a 1989 v1500 suburban. it came stock with a 350TBI engine and i am trying to swap a 454 into it. now i talked to cybrfire about making some motor mounts and the question he asked was are the mounts gonna be the same as in th 87 trucks. from what ive read the 70somethin to 87 pickups are the same as the 70somethin to 91 blazers and burbs at least suspension wise. now does that apply to my motor mounts as well? and should i ask him to make small block mounts or big block mounts or are they the same?

ive also read that to ensure the engine fit properly that i need a body lift. and i have seen some mounts cybrfire made that had i dunno 1in of lift to em so should i ask for that as well? thanks

First question did 89 trucks have a big block option?
yes is the answer
So motor mounts should available, if not the same.
A body lift will not be needed cuz the factory did it without them
