What's that 1" rubber liine that's ziptied to the AC box for? Is it just a rerouted heater hose?

Heater hose, It was too close to the headers. Replaced it, it had some burn marks. I pulled a lot of wires out of it. filled a bucket. No emissions in yuma, tried to clean up the bay a little. Wish I would have pulled the motor when I painted it To clean up the Firewall.Chad.
