Pretty much what the title says...
Have a running car that needs a lift from Kenosha to Dallas.
Tired of forking around with transport companies.
If you can help, shoot me a PM.
Thx

If I don't find something, I'll have an empty trailer headed north in a week or so.

Tell @Monty5150, @muddermilitia, @folkenheath, or @beags86 that it's time to take a strategic vacation.

Well...being from Kenosha and part of my junk collection, it's an old AMC.
I picked up a 72 Ambassador for my Dad.
Had a delivery company lined up but they flaked out. Can't get them to answer calls or emails which sucks because they are in NC (car was to be picked up in mid-August).

Here's a few pics. It's a bit rusty but cool in it's own way. Resized_20180527_153308_9720.jpeg Resized_20180527_153300_8882.jpeg Resized_20180527_153252_2062.jpeg
Current plans is to drive north Monday and make a nice road trip out of it.
Never been to Wisconsin and it would be cool to meet a few CK5'rs on the way.

I talked to my wife about doing the haul for you.. but it would have been about twice what a shipping company wants for me to do it lol...

As I found recently it's actually pretty cool to trek across the country to pick up a vehicle.:waytogo:.

How far north are you going?
I'm up for another meet-n-greet if you get close enough. Seeing Kenosha doesn't really count as seeing the state.

Well I would be right on your way home. Feel free to pm me. You could stop by or we could meet up of something.
I was being tempted by a 68 rambler this weekend... Not sure it's worth the asking price of 6k though

You have to take what you can get. There's a possibility that I might drop another project off in Johannesburg MI and loop around the lake. Just have to figure out cost & time. That would make for an epic road trip. I have traveled to Chicago and Detroit a lot for business but have never made it out of the major cities yet & and at this point, all airports and hotel rooms are pretty much the same.

It would be very cool to meet you. Once I get things somewhat sorted, I'll PM you.

As for the rambler, cool car but I'm a little out of touch on pricing these days. Rust free V8 cars are worth a bit more as you'd expect but selling them can be a challenge. The true AMC crowd make the purist Vette Nazi's look pretty easy going group.

I spent less than half of 6k for this gem. There's something cool about having an old 2 door AMC that is longer than a Tahoe???
& if the car turns out to be worse than expected, I'll be able to use a lot of the interior for my Rebel Machine!!!

Should have also tagged @broflow and @streetrodchev

I'm doing well to just type...forget them fancy things...

Wait, wait wait you have a machine??

I passed on one last year, not knowing what I was looking at, at the time.
I wasn't overly ed-u-ma-catied on it. Until it was gone. I've been wanting to get into the AMC world for a while now. But I don't like many of them, but I would take a rebel... For sure.

Yeah...but don't get too excited.
She's rust free but in a million parts (she has made an excellent shelf for the last 20 years).

It's a bit of a weird optioned car, solid body color, AC, PB, PS and a T10!!!
Even have a cross ram for it.
I'd love to have a couple more Machines.

I sold off most of my BOP cars years ago . Got rid of all my squarebody stuff over the last few months and am trying to get to a manageable amount of projects...I'm down to 4 GMT400's, a "couple" AMC's (...) and a daily driver or two.

If this doesn't work, I'm auditioning for Hoarders!!!

Good god, man you might be as bad as me!
I'm around 8-9 running/driving/tagged/insured vehicles with another 6 -7 projects, you know it's bad when you have to stop and count.
But apparently I can't count past 5.

You counted to 6 just fine. Problem was there were only 5.
