TX Move a car from Kenosha WI to Dallas

I have LOTS of route suggestions, depending on what you wanna see. I'll talk yer ear off worse than a travel agent. :haha:

Basically, the Northern half of your loop is trees, desolate coastline, and lighthouses, while the Southern half is cornfields, cities, and coastline.

What do you find interesting?

43 degrees this morning. Time to upgrade the tank top/cut off shirt to an actual tee shirt.. :haha:

Probably make a Texan freeze over...

Hahaha. Yes, I need to cover my garden tomorrow night to keep the frost away. And my oil burner cranked a little slower than normal this morning. Texans beware. :haha:

43 and you didn't close down the schools???
Crazy talk

So much for hospitality...

Trip is already getting delayed...forkin tow vehicle decided to not cooperate.
Got all the routine maint bs wrapped up, transmission rebuilt (lost the reverse band) and now the computer is doing silly things.
So the plan is to wrap up the truck by Monday and head north Tuesday.
Nothing like a quick 2,600 mile trip to work out the bugs...

Plan to be somewhere around Chicago late Tuesday.
Johannesburg mid-day Wednesday
Kenosha late afternoon Thursday
& then wonder home from there.

Pretty sure we will make the loop around Lake Michigan (if the truck screws up, it might end up in it)

That's ok, I'll be here all week. If you delay it a couple more days, you can join @Monty5150 and me on Saturday's wheeling trip.

Cool, I'll put the charger on the winch battery.
I'll PM you once I have a better idea what's going on.

Leave yet?

That's just mean!!!

but, finally got the truck back together. No check engine lights, goes forward and backwards, no funny vibrations (didn't even have to take off the drums). Running pretty good for an old L29. Shooting for double digit mpg's. Maybe 10.1 or 10.2!!! :saweet:

Went to grab a few last minute things & and some asshat stole my receiver! Hope they choke on a bag of dicks!

Anyways, leaving in the morning. flagwaver

Actually not meant as a troll, just more wondering if you were able to to get going or if things were working themselves out.

Didn't take it as trolling...it would be too easy at this point.
Never had so many things fork up at once on vehicles.
Had it been your cars & not mine, it would be kinda funny.

We will probably be in your neck of the woods Thursday evening.

I haven't found it yet.
I think it's in the scrap pile @ a buddies place. He's supposed to be looking for it.
If it's there it yours.

Feel free to drop that machine off at my place on your way through.
