Movie trucks/vehicles we would like to build

I don't have the pics but my dad built the bronco from romancing the stone when I was a teenager He couldn't find the gold centered outlaws though

he never did the lettering either

I knew a kid, in high school, with a legit "General Lee"....
It was so cool.

Unfortunately, my school was full of rice, amid the Fast-and-4 bangerest fad,
So, only a handful of us respected it... The rest of those Jap-car idiots just gave it door-dings.

Can't believe no one has posted The Minataur, from "Role Models." :haha:

That was a dodge ramcharger that was buried and then he dumps the beer over his head, takes a drink and hits the switch and after about 3 tries comes flying out of the dirt.

Yeah right,

How dare you all forget the Midnight Run Blazer. That thing ran and ramped and did things my fully built truck only wishes of doing, and did it all on basically stock tires. lol

Well if one must dream.............

The toogle switch operated roots blower would be hard to recreate.:dunno::haha:

I did figure out how to actually make the Madmax blower actually work. To bad I'll never have to money or want to build it. Basically instead of turning it on or off, the red button would control a two speed gear housed inside the blower drive belt housing. Blower goes from barely turning to over driven with a simple push-pull of the red happy button. Plenty of space to do it with how big the "nose cone" of a blower is. You could go with several gear types to get it done, I was thinking a sun gear would be perfect.

I wonder if the nice K5 in the movie "Earthquake" really DID have a "custom built transmission with 8 forward speeds and 2 reverse",did it have a doubler--or just the usual 2 speed transfer case...if thats all it had, well,we ALL have 6 or 8 speed trucks!....

Anyone remember Cooter's C-30 Wrecker on the Dukes Of Hazard?..around a 69 vintage or so?...I wouldn't mind having that with the "ripper" setup they had on it in one episode,it would come in handy for keeping other motorists at a reasonable distance away from you..:D

I've always wanted the dazed and confused Chevelle. That's maybe not so identifiable as alot of movie cars.

I've always wanted a general lee. I'd just end up getting into a ton of trouble with it.

easy gear vendors overdrive gets you 2x the forward and 2 reverse. these have been around for years now.

I wrote them. They can't make a unit to go between the sm465 and a tcase.
