HELP!! I am installing a 700r4 to a 2000 Vortec 350 for one of my bosses @ work and so far (after extensive searching here and on the web)can not find ANYTHING about the right TV cable to use or even if its doable. Thanks in advance for any help!

Probably not likely to find something, TV cable was long gone by the time of the Vortec 350's as I recall.

Any chance the linkage at the TB is swappable, for something like that used on the TBI or TPI TB?

Haven't figured that one out yet but am considering flipping the throttle body "the correct way" to get the linkage on the drivers side

Only Vortec TBI I was aware of was in something like panel vans (real rare) and apparently earlier than '96 4.3 liters.

Is This on an OBD2 2000 truck??
If so unless the ECM is reflashed to ignore the transmission.
You are going to get a bunch of transmission trouble codes. How those codes will affect engine performance I do not know. On electronically controlled trannys there is a bunch of input from the transmission the ecm needs to properly manage the engine.
You will also need something to control torque convertor lock up for the 700R4

Engine out of 2000 truck, ECM reflashed by Street & Performance, lockup kit also from Street & Performance

Looks like you are good to go. Call or email Bowtie OD they may have, or be able to make a custom cable for you.
