Is this a PAD post also, brought over from the non 4x4 forum? /forums/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif Because you could have searched to find out. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif You will an average of 14 to 21 depending on gears tires and you right foot.
I get 16 highway and a little worse in town. 4.56's, SM465 and 40's.

seriously though, than ks for the help on that guys. I dont think it would be worth the hassel to try and get a good running diesel on eif all they get 14-21. I was hoping for a solid 20. Thanks though

it depends how you drive though, i get 19 just about everywhere with a 700r4, 3.73rear and 33's. if i babied it i could get over 20. thats how my toyota was, if i drove it hard, i would get 15. if i drove it easy, i would get up to 26.
My truck would be getting the very low end of the mpg scale for the 6.2, it's not built for that. It weighs 6300 lbs, geared too low (for mpg) and has the aerodynamics of a barn.
Canmore gets 23+ mpg on the freeway with his 83 C10 pick-up which is damn impressive in my eyes.
6.2, 700R-4 (or NV4500), low lift, 32's, and 3.42 gears would get you solidly into the low 20's.

I got 14-16 with mine, in a burb with th400 and 4.10's with 35's and a heavy foot. I'm dropping to 3.73 to help me out

I was getting 24MPG in my 2wd Van with the 6.2 untill the engine died.
Highway gears and stock tires.
