I cant wait to hear how you like cruising with the paddles!
I suspect they are going to be noisy on the highway.

He joined the ck5 michigan chapter of "I trailer my junk everywhere" club.

I'm like the air bump and suspension upgrades, nice plan! The paddes are definitely better for 2WD, makes it easier to get everywhere with less effort. I found in racing though that I just blew them off and didn't go any faster, so I never put them back on. I think for racing and power the large scoop paddles would be the way to go. But for your rig and the dunes and in 2WD, those paddles will probably work great, I bet you will like them.
If you ever get tired of the paddles. I've seen a lot of guys have really good luck using circle dirt track tires. I ran pismo with a guy that had like 16" wide dirt track tires on his bronco. Did amaze balls cuz they float and grab without digging all the time.
Actually now that I think about it. He drove his junk there and then swapped the rears to play.
Well with a gear swap im really hoping i will be fine. Im not so big on have a huge hp motor. Its all about suspension and being able to carry momentum for me.

ouch
yeah, I'll say the shackle looks too short. That main leaf should be able to go completely flat. So either your shackle is too short or your frame bracket needs to get moved back AND your shackle is too short.
You sand guys measure droop differently, since you aren't worried about articulation. If you were, you'd see the massive numbers you were hoping to get. My 7 leaf stock 56s use all of my 12" shocks. My rear will tuck nicely, but droop is limited by my shocks![]()
