Man that thing is a weird combo of sweet truck, cool parts and a little WTF. Lots of potential though. Good thing it was found by somebody capable of righting the ship.

Hopefully you will take some vids when you get that thing out on the dunes. It would be cool to see that thing in action.
 
Yah i was really hoping to get it out on the dunes yet this year but idk if it will happen or not. Dunes close october 31st but this weekend have a buddies wedding and i also have to finish cutting all my wood for my boiler for this winter plus loads of other things around the house.
Ive got my fingers crossed i can make it once yet.

But i do agree on the wierdness but awesomeness of this rig. The doo doo brown paint job, grey cage, black wheels, little tires, and radius ford front end. I loved it at first site.

I actually like it too.....kind of a rootbeer brown color. VERY 70's...... I'd be tempted to keep it and just reshoot it when the time comes with maybe a bit of sparkle added to it. Seriously. :waytogo:

And Mitch i do still plan on building an ibex its just.gonna take longer now. Due to the accident i was forced to use some of my ibex fund to pay for stuff from the wreck insurance didnt cover. Also bought a new car with it. Plus bought a ton of wood seems as how i didnt have a truck anymore to go cut in the woods. After all that my ibex fund was about half depleted when i stumbled across this blazer and decided buy this sweet blazer and push the ibex back 5-6 more months and rebuild the funds. In the mean time i still have the axles, motor,tranny,and t case to all work on for the ibex so that way i can have them ready to go once i build the funds back up.
