I working on a 40 footer as well. The only problem is they are stupid expensive. No one seems to have used 40'. I only can find new and they want almost 10G for those things. Hard to justify that kinda coin for one week a year.
Keep looking, you'll find one. My Dad found that triple axle 36 footer sitting somewhere and bought it for $1,800, put some new tires and brakes on it and it was ready to roll. He doesn't use it very often but it is very handy when he does. Hauls two rigs no problem.
Wow that is a steal. Most of the used goosenecks around me are used and abused by farmers, and then they still want atleast 5 grand.
I have no money and a non-running K5 but I'm in. Ill bring the '07 Superduty and get it buried like a tool.
Yah the one im working on is a guy i know. He wanted money in a bad way and was gonna sell it to me for $2000 but it was right when i totaled oreo and then went and bought a car, and a blazer, and then my superduty. I really didnt want to spend the cash at that time so i couuldnt. But hes the type of guy that always wants something new and is tight on cash but owns alot of equipment and trailers so he just sells one thing to get whatever it is now he wants. So we have a gentlemans agreement next time hes hard up for cash let me know and ill take that trailer off his hands. He probally wont be hard on cash till spring because he ended up selling a dozer he had for a good chunk of money. So spring time i should be able to just show up with $2000 and ill leave with that trailer.....thats the plan atleast haha

Sounds like fun... I know we're all half way serious and half way joking but if the time comes for you guys to head west I'll be happy to be the point man. I can get everything arranged no problem.
They wouldn't take him. They turned down the 4400 blazer and said they were full when obviously they weren't. They're looking for a specific kind of truck.
Well that is odd, how built up is that blazer? I know it has ran ultra 4 races, I guess it's been awhile sense I have seen pics.

Well just got back from silver lake and the blazer through as much abuse as i could. Hitting whoops at high speed. And then started airing it out. Go check my fb i have one video up. I have lots of go pro footage to go thru and then ill get a video on her for you guys.
And in all seriousness i would like to make it out west this time 2016. I got some upgrades and more testing to do next summer, and then id be ready to head west. I dont know how the class break down is at huckfest, but if theres a class i can be competetive in id do it. I have morr work to do before i start airing it out that big.

I was really trying to find this things weak links today. And even after airing it out several times i only managed to shred a serp belt and burn up a plug wire after i shredded the second belt i had to call it a day. Even tho blazer wanted more abuse.

I found the cause of mine. My tensioner was junk. I could push it with one finger and compress it so when i was landing on those jumps i think it was compressing and causing the belt to slide half off then itd rub and then shred it.
