MUCV(Multi-Purpose Utility Command Vehicle)...The Dirtybus...

Nice. I have seen some pretty nice bus builds. If I ever get one I am going to raise the roof a couple feet. Its easy to do

Thanks guys...

Yeah the chains work just how explained...

I might move the lift to the back door to operate the fold down deck...:D

It's not bad driving in front of the steer tires, but I did learn how to drive in the '80s in a VW bus...:p:

I've been looking at a lot of other bus builds and have some good ideas of what I want... This should be a lot of fun...

I've always wanted to do a C60 or similar build for a haulin rig. I've seen them with Burb bodies and with CC bodies. But a bus would be slick, alot cheaper initially and a short wheelbase would be easier to tow with. I did find an articulated city bus for a few thousand bucks that could have been a real tricked out hauler, but the Mrs wouldnt let me get it :(

Are you going to put a "FREE CANDY" sticker on the side?

Seriously though, my uncle converted an old school bus to rv/flea market wagon when I was a kid and it was a cool rig. Wood stove and pipe out the top with all the goodies.

I wear my "mandels" so everyone can see my macaroni toe...:D And I grew up with Hippies...

I plan on installing a small wood stove... Free heat after a day of wheeling...

Thinking the same olive green I used on the Blazer where the yellow is and touching up the black...

I might go with an urban camo(black, white, charcoal and gray) like i planned for the crew cab...

I want to know about how much that bus sold for. I would buy one just to screw around with to go to bars with lots of my friends.

I picked it up for $1000... Just like everything else I build, I find the cheapest way to get what I really want...:D

BTW, nice post count to join date...

WOW! I would have bought it also. :D

I read a lot and do not post much as you know.

That bus was a steal for $1000, gonna be cool when you build it. I`ve been having strange bus thoughts also.

what about a bus with a stealth fifth wheel. just kind of have a slot for the tongue of the trailer to slide into and then hook up.

I've seen buses built into all kinds of things... Build whatever suits your needs...

Here's one, or two...

Well, the kids washed the bus today... Looks pretty good...

Started to pull the seats, but the boys had issues with the bolts just spinning on them...

I went and grabbed the grinder with some cut-off wheels and realized that I burnt it up a while ago... So, gotta go get a new grinder and we're guting this thing...

Got a bunch of floor plans drawn up... Trying to figure out what will be the most functional...

Oh yeah,,,

I took it out for a drive around the neighborhood today...:D
