my yearly for sale thread;
more description on the pics. please feel free to ask questions. 1988 K5: $6000. 1982 K30 crew cab, been sitting for years, axles were robbed: $5500. 1976 K5, project, rusty, transmission need repaired or replaced: $2000. 2004 LJ, been sitting, needs work: $15000. 1998 TJ, really built, $8500. 2003 Dodge 2500, hemi, needs work: $4000. 1988 K-5 Blazer. I bought this in 2002; flew into Virginia Beach and drove it back to FW and it has sat for 22 years. I started it occasionally until about 7-8 years ago. the vent window is missing as seen in the pics but I have another one for it. it has a 4" Rancho lift with 3" body lift and 35 BFG Mud Terrains on it. 350TBI/700R4/208 with a 12 bolt rear and 10 bolt front. couple little rust holes in the floor board and a spot on the tailgate. it originally was a grey paint from the factory but someone painted the outside black and it is a crappy job. it is cracked. $6000

1982 K30 crew cab. axles were robbed and I am not sure what butchery was done when they were robbed. I think it has a 350/350/203. I could be wrong. it has been stored inside for the past 18 years or so. $5500

2004 LJ 4.0/auto/4:1 231 t-case. 4.56 in axles with alloy shafts all around with ARBs and ARB dual compressor under the hood. Rusty's long arm with Bilstein shocks. it has flat fenders now. I believe the fuel pump is out. when I was robbed I was trying to move and dumped fuel down the throttle body and caught it on fire. I smothered it with my Carhartt jacket so it doesn't have much damage. lots and lots of build parts on this. $15000 (not real sure I want to sell)

Damn I'd love to have that long step K20. I wish I had the money. I would have the money if I would just thin my herd... but then I would just spend the money on a new herd. It's a vicious cycle, lol.

it's in the small description at the top but not in the description with the picture but it will need a bonded title. I HAD the title and went to get it in my name and the lady I bought it from signed it somewhere wrong. I have no idea what I did with the title after that. I think it was in a box in my container and when I was robbed they took the box. she was old when I got the title; her dad had died and this was one of his farm trucks. a friend hauled off a bunch of stuff for her and he got a 1973 truck. he asked if I wanted this one and I bought it.

Oh man I wish I was back to work.

Hey Jeff - I have buddy looking for a lease truck. Does the stepside run?

sorry, been out of town. it was running off a gas can but that was over 10 years ago. we bypassed the tank as it was old gas. the seat is sitting in the bed, it needs to be rebuilt with foam and cover. I was going to put a different seat in it. gears are 3.42 in the axles. it has no AC; was an old farm truck. I got it because I thought it was neat being a long bed stepside; speaking of which, it has a wood floor in need of replacement. I might have a white fleetside bed in San Antonio.

I agree its cool, I don't think I've ever seen one in the wild. Will run it by him but bet its going to be more work than he is looking for. Hope things are well out that way.

If you keep it up I am going to have to start trying harder to sell some of mine. I did sell one of my Ford box trucks about a month ago, it's a start at least.

I am not going to lie; I enjoyed having all this stuff. But since I retired and moved; I cut my pay by 2/3 and no longer have a shop (although I plan on building one). my problem is the chaos that goes on inside my head. I constantly argue with myself about what to keep and what to sell. Plus I look on Marketplace all the time in case there is something I can't live without. Back in 2010 I had over 50 vehicles and am down to 14 now. I would like to get down to about 8-10. it goes like this:

Keep my 2001 Dodge 4x4 2500 Cummins and 2002 Dodge dually 3500 Cummins for tow rigs; although they are getting old, but at least I don't have to worry about emissions and DEF.
Keep my 2003 Chevy Silverado 1500; this is the one I inherited from my dad. it is currently getting painted.
then I want a car; I have a 2007 Taurus I bought not long ago to help someone out with bills and dental work but it needs a lot of work. it only has 140000 miles but they were hard miles. but I only paid $700 for it.

here is where I argue mostly:
keep my 2007 Jeep JKUR, I can daily it and wheel it. I have driven it to go wheel before and then drove it home. I think of it as pretty new, then I realize it is almost 20 years old.
keep my 1991 K5 Blazer, it has sat and needs to be pulled in the driveway and the refurbishment started. Chevy is what got me started into wheeling and I want to keep it. it is pretty built with tons, 5.38s, Detroit Lockers, exo-cage. it did have 39" Rockers on it. I sold them and later bought another set but will probably sell them and put the Yokohamas on it. if anyone remembers him it was LEPER's Blazer and he made me a great deal on it.
then I want something hard core: keep my X Chassis, the Conglomeration buggy, or my 2000 TJ on tons. honestly I am leaning towards keeping the X and parting out the Conglomeration. then also keeping the 1 ton TJ.

then I have the rusty 1976 K5; I have so many parts that I could make a really capable beater rig. or I could just sell the parts and work on what I am keeping.
then I have a little 1998 TJ. I have owned it close to 20 years. it is extremely capable but most will be scared off by the 4 cylinder. it worked fine for me as a wheeling rig. it would run 75 down the highway but liked 60-65 a lot better. I want to keep both of these but should probably sell; although my daughter and 1 friend tell me to keep what I want.

then I have a 2004 LJ
2003 Dodge 2500 Hemi lifted
1982 K30 Crew Cab sitting on blocks (no axles) that was put together with parts from different trucks; and to be honest, I want to keep these as well :rotfl:
