I almost bought one of Alyeska's Suburbans that were on the block 3 years ago, (their office is right next to the Princess bus yard in Fairbanks) but after inspecting them before the auction, I thought better of it.:doah: 300,000 miles on a '99 Subby back in 2007 was a few too many for me, especially what they put them through.

I am interested to see what you do with yours though.

well the 6.2l did far better towing the jimmy than i thought it would.while it is no cummins it did well for what it is.
i am going to swap out the 4.10s for a set of 4.56s next winter when i replace the engine and hopefuly add a banks turbo to it.

picked up a set of front buckets and center console and rear doors with power windows and tinted windows for $30 last night.will get pics soon.

What are you going to do about moose lights? I know you Alaskan's seem to love as many Lightforce lights as the bumper can hold. It was because of a moose that I put some on my Yukon.:D

lol never owned a set.im way too cheap to buy hem.
heres a better pic of the crewcab with the jimmy hooked to it.:D:D

Yeah Lightforce stuff is pricey, but I found that NAPA generic brand $25 a light and do-it-yourself wiring did a pretty good job. I've had mine for three years now and they haven't failed yet, and have saved my hide more than once.

That combo looks pretty sweet.:wink1:
