i ordered them from ord for $40.00

14bff will bolt right up to the 1/2 ton spring pack as long as you get the 14b from a 3/4 ton not a 1 ton because the purches will be in the wrong spot on 1ton

i am not positive but after i unbolted the 10bolt axle, i was able to drag it out from underneath the blazer with not alot of problems. but when i tried to drag the 14bff a few inches, i felt one of my @uts drop about a foot.
now i can pick up one end of a 14bff but no way could i drag it.

oh , i drove the blazer to work today, ( about 45 miles ), with no problems. i think there was a differance in power becouse of the extra weight.

14 FF weighs in around 500-600 lbs IIRC. When I did my swap I could pick up the 10B front (complete hub to hub) but couldn't pick up the 14FF

yeah i was guessing it was around that as well. When my was on the ground i had to lift that heavy sum B!tch up and put in the back of the truck. I was supper weak after that. Then about 20 mins later i had lifted the dana 44 8 lug and put it in the truck and that was much lighter. LOL... (in case your wonder why i had to lift. had to take them to a different location to do the install on the blazer.)

Distance between the spring perches. 3/4-ton will be the same as a 1/2-ton. 1-ton springs are closer together to acommodate the DRW option.

i built a custom axle dolly so i could roll my 14 Bolt FF into place it works like a charm !
