My 69 Blazer

Build continued

Some before and after pictures. I Line-X'd the inside, added a PRP back bench, rear lap seat belts, new body mounts with body lift, PSC Steering gears with PSC power steering pump system, Steering box brace, electrical fuel pump, MSD ignition system.

The driver side rear leaf spring was just slapped together and welded down after there was a accident so everything needed to be measured and that leaf spring got realigned to where it needed to be. Fix a collapsed fuel line, also ran the fuel pump to cut off the engine if oil pressure drops below 6psi.

Next will be moving to Hydroboost brakes, painting, and adding my new mirrors custom made by Icon 4x4.

Pics of the ICON mirrors please..... :deal:

I contacted them a while back about offering items like door handles, side mirrors, etc for people that didn't want the full "ICON treatment" but still wanted some nice quality accessory parts for their truck. Sounds like they might have finally decided to do it.

X2 on this! I hate my door mirrors and would love some that I can actually see out of...

Here is a picture of the ICON mirrors. They aren't offering items so Jonathan told me since they make everything from scratch there is no real profit for them. Even though I got half price on those mirrors they were still very pricey. I meet Jonathan the owner of ICON in LA one of my co-workers that is her brother-in-law said he'd hook it up for me just give him specs. But if doesn't someone should I think.

Where did you you get your headlights from? Are you happy with them?

I got them from a ebay shop and I'm very happy with them. Since I can finally see driving at night. Not to mention pissing everyone off while I'm behind them.

Some more progress Only got one shot of it. I took out the old bucket seats and replaced them with PRP seats and mounts. Upon taking out the seats I found they were mounted on 4x4 wooden blocks and were not mounted to the frame. Got them mounted up with some new seatbelts that are mounted to the rollbar. I also got a tuffy console in and welded that bitch down so tweekers couldn't take it unless they so happened to have a plasma cutter with them.

When I bought it it was cover in carpet so I'll be ripping that out and come to find out the rollbar is mounted to the wood panel in the back. Once out and any rust spots fixed it will be Line-X'ed.

I'm also looking at buying two rigs in my local area to combine all three to make the perfect rig.

"Do it right the first time."

Any chance you can post some pics of the seat mounts? Are they from PRP and did you need to modify them at all? I'm looking at putting the same seats in my rig.

thanks
