My '70 C/10 - The Rat Bastard... [Won't Idle.]

They do have one.
But it's that glass-fuse looking kind.

I swapped it for led.

Mine did NOT come with Courtesy lights, tho.

And, to clarify... The Courtesy lights I installed are under the cab, and light up the ground.

Ah yeah, the dome light is the same as the 73-ups then. Do you guys have a light under the dash too?

Now, as for ground lighting ... you should do purple neon. The 80's are calling, they want their Duran Duran LP's back :haha:

Ignoring that whole Patrick Nagel thing, I'm assuming you're doing white LED, in strips or bars?

One led spot, per side for the ground lights.
The Dome light is one of those square "China" lights that everyone uses.
Prolly use the same for my toolbox and underhood lights.

I didn't have an 'under dash' courtesy light. (Like my K5 had.)
Just the dome light.

I didn't add one, because I think they're stupid.
What the hell do I need to see the floorboard for?

Mostly just curious as to differences between the older trucks and the ones I know, i.e. 73+.

The under-dash is handy when your female companion drops things down there. Otherwise, yeah, not so useful.

Is it the one I gave you? that thing is tits!

Oh and I dismounted 4 tires and mounted 2 in this rediculous heat. So no excuse!

And you know how abnormally hot my driveway is

If you drop something on the floor.

Stayed up all night.

Got my TH400 buttoned up, and DRemu's torn down.
Mine had to move, so I could work on his.
Gotta pull apart some auto-trans clutches, and pick up some parts. :pimp:

Aaron.... Yer front band (Direct Band) is almost non-existent.... :haha:
I bet that grinding was the direct clutch, and the forward clutch assembly disagreeing.
Also, yer intermediate clutch was riding the Central support Snap Ring.

Bare minimum she needs new shims, and the band....
But, I haven't been through the clutches individually.
That's next.

It's looking cheap though, cuz the clutch disks and steels look really good.
Pump is good, too.... And, no metal chunks, so the Converter is prolly fine.
Just misadjusted clearances, it's lookin like. :D

I'd take pics, but the phone is in the same room as the sleeping wife.
I've done some crazy chit, but waking a Wife/Mother, on a Saturday @ 6am..... No thank you.

Well, I'm glad that it wasn't my imagination; I was a bit worried you were gonna say "uh, Aaron, there's nothing wrong with this very heavy piece of machinery we removed from your truck" :doah:

And yeah, it is a wise man who lets sleeping women be.

Hey beast, got a question for ya...that ez wiring harness, did you mount it where the stock fuse box is located or somewhere different? Just curious because i have the same one i will need to be mounting soon...

I mounted mine wear the stock one goes.
Although...

If I did it all over again, and cared, I would have dissected the whole harness;
Then, ran the bundles in a different manner, for a cleaner look.

My wires will be covered, but I'd put the extra elbow grease in, if they weren't.
