My '70 C/10 - The Rat Bastard... [Won't Idle.]

I don't feel like going back in the build to check but do you have a shifter for this thing? I have a B&M Megashifter in the shed.

love it

hate the toolbox and rear bumper though :D

How is this thing going to ride with the jeep springs in back? Any payload rating left over? Mmmmm air shocks :)

Welp... After much deliberation, the toolbox is coming out.
I'm gonna drop an in-bed box, in there.

I need a toolbox for my subwoofer.... As silly as that sounds. :haha:
But that box no longer makes any sense.

The bumper is coming off, too.
Its gonna go to Dremu, as he requested it, should it be removed.
----------------------

The springs have 180lbs spring rate.
So, they max out pretty quick.

Everyone says the ride is better than factory, with the correct shocks.
Ill be calling Bilstein for shocks, after i can weigh it.

The great shifter debate... :haha:

I currently have the factory Manual Column installed.
I'd like to keep it that way, and do a floor shifter, but cant afford one.
If you wanna sell it to me for a decent price, id buy it.

Its for a 3-speed, right? :dunno:

I was gonna buy one from someone else, but ended up having to pay a ticket instead.

And, for when Issaam gets here:

I tried to get myself to install that Auto Column, but two things are holding me back;
First, i don't want an auto column, and Second, the signal switch is broken.

I honestly think that temporarily installing it, then removing it later,
Is 6 hours worth of work, that I don't feel like doing.

I need a toolbox for my subwoofer's.... As awesome as that sounds. :woot:
.
fixed it for ya:thumb:

I've wanted to do that for a while now... had an 83 silverado about 12 years ago that i drew plans for.... traded it on a 4 runner:doah:

I was gonna build a whole section in the front of the bed for it and make it so i had to remove the bed to get to the subs..... F*** thieves:D

Im false-walling it, by welding sheet on both sides.
Then, im gonna cut the top, and hinge it, with a secret lock inside the box.

Because, yes... F*ck thieves.

then how do you expect bass to get into your cab:dunno:

You obviously havent heard my 12" 600w (RMS) Kenwood, in its Kicker Marine box.
Its made to have lots of bass, in an open air boat.

I'll be just fine, after i port the bottom of the Work Box. :waytogo:

Oh, and the cab is gonna have (2) 5.25's, (2) mini tweeters, and (2) 6.5's...
Sa'll good, in the sound department. :pimp:

just wont have much kick inside with the windows up and really annoy the other people outside:D. Ive heard enough subs:waytogo: i used to build comp level stereos as a hobby. bass has actually been my main hobby since i was 14. it'll probly work enough i guess, as long as YOU like it it doesnt matter right:thumb:

Started chopping the front springs.... Passenger first.

This is why it sat crooked. :haha:

The sound the spring made, when the A-Arm released from the U-Bolt,
almost made me need new boxers.... :haha:

No bullsh*t...
The inner portion of the fracture, is EXACTLY where the 2" drop cut starts.
Dodged a bullet there... :pimp:

Thats what this was riding on.... :doah:
Thats actually dirt, covered in a thin layer of surface rust...
Its not half as bad as it looks.
