My '70 C/10 - The Rat Bastard... [Won't Idle.]

Who the hell needs brakes anywho? That shtuff just slows You down putting in go Fast Parts Anyway. Lol. At least you got some wrenches on the ol girl. It's coming together slow but you are able to sit Back and make Sure It's right and looks the way you want. Work comes first anyway or else you don have the money to play with your toys.
:haha: brakes are completely unnecesary, until it threatens movement.
No driveshaft, no brakes.

Still like it. Im putting chrome bumpers on my gold 68.
The truck will maintain the factory trim.
That is, until the eventual year it gets painted.
Down the road. :waytogo:

Glad you're back at it!:waytogo:
Yea, ihave a stack of things that need done.
But, like Chuliso' said, I gots ta work to pay the bills.
Fast money is a lot easier, but at least taxes will be easier... :haha:

It has built in brakes, they are in the tranny. Downshift! :haha:
Hellz yeah.... And, when i get to the 7 mph Neutral-Roll,
I can hop out and play NHRA Parachute, and drag that b*tch to a halt!

Steady Rat Fink'n the Brakes. :pimp:

Nonsense! All you need is this:

Just toss it out the back when you need to stop :deal:

Brakes are for people who want to go slow. So why would you want those. Winners dont use brakes:pimp:

Tranny cooler is in its final spot.
Hard Lines run, Barbed fittings on, Soft lines on.

Still have to fix a fuel leak.
Then, refill the coolant, check the vacuum, Set the timing.... Correctly. :doah:
Followed by a FULL Brake Job, and custom Driveshaft.

Then, I'll be on the road.

Its not sharp... However, i am going to stuff an AC hose grommet in there. :pimp:
Notice the lack of hose clamps, too. :thumb:

id just stuff a long 1/2" extension or piece of pipe thatll fit in the hole and pry back towards the radiator. that'll round off the hole and change the angle of the hose for a little better look:thumb:

I could....

Btw, the holes are the Factory AC condenser hose holes.
So, there a GM part number for the grommets and everything.

I always wanted to run a full a/c setup, but run the air intake through the evaporator for a super cold air intake instead of the vents for comfort:D never tried it yet though... not sure if the power gains would override the power loss of driving the a/c system. its a fun thought though

No more LS swap?

My quad still hasnt sold.
And, the member I was talking to about buying the powertrain has since stopped replying.

Next January, I'm gonna do a full 6BT swap.
It'll run a grand or two more than an LS swap, but the mileage will make up the difference.

Got the Fan Relay mounted and hooked up.... *woop-dee-doo*
Gonna get the fuel leak fixed, and check the vacuum and timing.

Gotta order the brake and driveline parts, soon.
So close to driving this truck.
