My 86 K5 build

Lol I've got a matching dent like the last pic. That looks like beautiful country.

Couple more pics my brother started to get uploaded...there may be more, but I think all he has now is video that he wants to compile real quick into a little video. Whenever that happens I'll post it.

First 3 pics are on the playground on Bangs Canyon. @mrk5 does that look familiar from what you remember playing around on? Last pics are more of 21 Rd trail

cool. You're on the Honda, brother on the Suzuki?

Yep. Had my Honda for a while. 2008 CRF450. Upgrades here and there, but I'm getting close to wanting a new bike soon. My brother literally just bought that 2017 RMZ450 about 3 weeks ago. Was really the first time out on it for him after he got it broke in.

It looks like a lot of my old pictures are starting to work on again (that are linked from photobucket)...has PB finally given up on their crap prices to use the 3rd party hosting's? Either way, should make it nicer for anyone looking through this thread from the beginning again...

I can see every other one lol, also I’m on my way to Idaho right now!

What part? You gonna stop and say hey?
Boise area, we might try and swing up there, you’re a little ways north right? It’s already a 15 hour drive. Yolo we are gonna try and make it all the way tonight to have more time there

I live in Emmett (NW of boise about 45 min), but I work in downtown Boise, in the Zions Bank building. Let's do lunch or something like that?? I'll send you a PM

Went and did Idaho Tuff Truck Challenge again this year with my brother. As usual, was a bunch of fun. I did a bit better this year than last year. Tow test I did about the same (not quite a full pull...poor tired TBI 350 does not like that event, haha), obstacle course I did better though I still hurt my time as I slid off course and had to back up to get back on which cost me, mud pit I surprisingly got 10th place out of 35 rigs which really surprised me since I freaking hate mud and don't have much horsepower, and the rock course I got to the same exact spot I did last year and tied for 9th. So I overall did better than last year. I beat the truck pretty hard again in the rock course and didn't brake anything...which is always nice!

My brother was doing real good with good times in the tow test and obstacle course, but his motor starting running like absolute junk in the mud pit. Turned out all of his rockers were loose and his timing was off like crazy. We couldn't get it running for the rock course which kinda sucks, but he still had fun. We think he might have destroyed his distributor gear. He will diagnose more when he gets home. Overall, was still a really fun weekend. As I find more pics getting posted on facebook, I'll upload them here. These are all I have right now

I love it man.

Heck yeah man, that's cool!

Any videos?

What's the strategy for the tow test - double low for max ratio or single low so you still have some wheel speed?

Haven't really seen any videos posted yet. There is a guy who literally takes over 1000 pics during the day and he posts it to FB the week after the event. So I'm sure those will be up sometime soon.

For the tow test I do the Titan box in low and the 205 in high to give me 2.72:1. Seems like the best ratio for some tq off the line but allows some wheel speed once you get it moving. I just have such little power out of my motor, it's not a good event for my truck...but still fun

How are you liking the Pitbulls so far?

They're freaking fantastic. Very tough carcass (especially the bias ply ones like what I have) and in the rocks they hook up really good. They are ok in the mud, just gotta keep them spinning to clean out, but luckily I don't search out mud all that often. They work really good in loose dirt/rock situations.

Hey. Jade got a bunch of really good videos of you, I forgot, I’ll see if she can send them to you.
