my 91 suburban build thead

im just going to park it in my driveway and look at it. its too pretty to drive

I'll break it in for you! I'll get some Montana pinstriping on it for you in no time flat. :deal:

When you get it back, I guarantee you it wouldn't be too pretty to drive.

That's a lot of sweet work. Very nice!!!

mnstrburbon: if you want it so come out nice 2 gallons will be just enough. I was very carefull about wasting paint and i ran out of my 2 gallons at the very end

Thanks just trying to plan it out and add up cost.Maybe and extra quart or gallon would not be a bad idea for future touch ups and repairs. It came out sweet by the way.

mnsterburbon: what color are you planing on painting it because if its a really dark color you could probably get away with less. I used a ton of paint just becasue white doesnt cover very well

wow i just started putting the burb back together and its pretty overwhelming seeing like 10 big boxes full of parts:mad:

That truck is beautiful. Awesome job man. This thread makes me feel all warm and fuzzy, seeing a rig saved from the scrap pile :D

Any updates on this one? Have you put it all back together yet. I'd like to see the finished product.:tongue1:

No, you wouldn't want to see the finished project. Go to the Garage and see the thread "Check this out" and you'll see how it got finished................by an Impala at 45mph!
