My A-Bomb tube bumper build

yea, they are definitely the way to go. Winch mount, bumper center, frame cap, and spring relocation all in one. FWIW I was also able to mount a Warn Powerplant winch in there. Mounted it feet out and had to move the fairlead but it fit.

oh, I also replaced the kinked and trashed winch cable with synthetic and a factor 55 thimble.

K30-Merrick, my name Is Benny and I'm building a 1974 k5 for my son. Installed a A-Bomb as well and spoke with Kurt (@DIY4X) about getting the similar tubes to make a bumber from it. Is there any way you can reach out to me? I would love to pick your brain for a couple minutes. Would save me countless hours playing trial and error as you seem to have already been through the R&D. Thanks-Benny 714-926-5311

Welcome to the site.

I don't think Merrick frequents any forum anymore, I've only seen him active on Instagram.
