My baby, 88v30

My wife would kill me...
 
A couple of 91 K5s. If you are interested I can give you more details. The short story is one is a pretty much a stock K5 in great shape except for a few dents. The other K5 has 1 tons w. Detroits and 5.13s. It has 80K original miles and is in good shape. No dents but will need some minor rust repair on the drivers side floor.

Is the original drivetrain for the 88 still around? What has been done to the engine bay? Is the TH400/205 still in the truck?
 
Roger that. I'm not interested in rusty stuff, I'm more mechanical and absolutly suck at body work. The only thing that is currently removed from the truck is the original 454. All other original components are fully functional and intact in the truck. The other parts and pieces in the ad were gunna be for a Kaiser project that never gained speed..
 
I've got a pic of it somewhere. It is pretty minor. Part of a floor pan would take care of it. I would be willing to take care of it if you can get the engine reinstalled in the crew cab.

Edit: Here's the pic. Poor lighting but you can see the hole towards bottom. The other side looks great.

I hear ya. Thanks for the offer but the engine is apart and I'm in the Merchant Marines, don't have any time to mess w the truck anymore. I just want a DD and b done w it..
 
Welp, some of you may be surprised I still have this thing... A couple of deals fell through this summer, I bought an engine, I bought a bunch of parts from Jegs in preparation for the install and now I'm on the cusp of buying a house... I could use some liquid funds for the purchase so back up to the top for you NewEngland fellas....

A couple motor pics... Gen4 454, 4 bolt main, stock heads and block w flat top pistons, the cam is a comp cam 1500-5500, heads are a mild port, roller top end, Pete Jackson gear drive, New Edelbrock 750 w electric choke, nice thick flange Edelbrock shorty headers etc etc.....
