of all places its from ebay. I think thay might have paid to much for it if its from there.
I guess this is the ol', "don't look a gift horse in the mouth."
How's the condition and "completeness"? I've seen a few setups on there and have wondered...but dunno about buying a used turbo kit from an unknown on Ebay...for a grand like most of them seem to be going for...

WOW thats a lot of coin. it is a very complete kit from what i have been told, have not seen it yet.
Don't take my general and limited observations on the price as an indicator of what they paid...by any means.
Keep us updated on how it goes. Was the kit meant for your truck? It seems like they have different ones for every engine variant and truck style.

OK i hear ya. As for a s i know is a sidewinder for a 6.2L diesel.

I can identify that as the correct 6.2 kit. Looks very complete as well. They are averaging $800 to $1,000 on eBay I think. They come up often on eBay, seem to be very scarce everywhere else.
I have never seen a kit including the heat shields or an oil filter adaptor (hey! the used oil filter is a big bonus
) I don't think they are part of a Banks system. I have seen several include the drivers side exhaust manifold though. Banks doesn't include one. You are supposed to use the stock one

the pnly difference between kits is the length exhaust for the different trucks i believe.

In my family and some good friends there is plenty of cucvs around. I was just offerd 4 m1009s for 2500 bucks. might go for it just dont know how to get them up here. working on it....
