My Blazer is offically on ebay.

Tell you what. You ship that thing out to me and I'll sell it here for you. I keep 10% of the selling price if it sells for $3500 or more. I bet you get $4k to $6k here in VA.

At the very least, list in on the DC craigslist and explain that it will probably cost $1k to ship it (that's what it cost me, YMMV...) and see what happens. Those trucks are stupid hard to find out here. I finally gave up (obviously) after 1.5 years of looking and got mine from CA.

Well, i put it on ebay again after that last person bailed or died or whatever... Anyway, it just sold again. For $4k this time! Fortunately, this time, two people bid on it. So i can possibly givie it to the second person in line if the first person flakes... If they both flake, i have made a commitment to sell it to a different guy for $3250.

Ok high bidder is obvious scammer... So, sent the second guy a second chance offer for his bid of $3800. We'll see how that goes.

So far the second guy is following through. He has been very good at communicating and has already given me the deposit. So, looks like its going bu bye. Talk about bitter sweet.

Depends on how much the wife lets me keep!!! But, provided she lets me keep most/all of it, im getting pain on the burb.

Nice.. Glad it all worked out. So how does Ebay figure your fees? Did you have to file a complaint against the first bidder before the second bidder was allowed to purchase

Ebay's fees i cant remember right off hand. Its in there fees section. It was $2.00 to post the add(more or less depending on the "options" you choose) and $125.00 for the sale. I dont remember the cutoff but IIRC less then $2k final sale price is like $75.00 and above 2k is the $125.00 that i paid. No id didnt have to file a complaint to end the transaction on the first guy and begin it with the second guy. But i do have to still file the complaint to get the $125.00. Ebay basically assumes i sold it twice. So now, i have to "officially" end the transaction with the scammer and then they will give my money back. Its the same thing i went through with the first sale attempt where the dude just stopped communicating.

Ah its not too bad. Just a bunch of mouse clicks. Im happy enough with it that i plan to sell the 77 on there here in a few weeks.
