Love it! We have almost the same truck here on the farm to haul the grain trailer and dozers with. Only difference is ours has a 7 speed in it, it'll handle 70,000 (maybe a bit overloaded
) so I doubt your brother will have many issues with his setup.

FYI I was a factory certified International tech for 10 years and have access to their tech website and wiring diagrams and any other stuff you may need to know. I am a diehard International truck lover and would like to build one like yours only based on one of these

That turned out to look very professional. Your brother has some fab skills, nice work!
I added a hitch to the front of the flatbed, mostly to accept my winch cradle but I can see lots of uses for it.
I built a simple and light 2 point crane, pretty much only designed to lift 2-3k. I just made some tabs, used bushing sets and bolts I had lying around. Tubes are 1.5" sch40 pipe.
The 2 pieces of angle bolt together. Straps hook in on top and a d ring goes through the bottom. Both sides break apart for easy storage. And yes I planned on the angle bending a little where the straps hook in.... no biggie, now the hooks go in better. The dump bed that I lifted below will probably be the heaviest thing I lift with this crane. Mostly I wanted something to lift motors/axles/cabs/truck beds etc onto and off of a trailer.
I always cut down my straps for specific uses, looks like I will have to pick up 2 more and leave them full length.
I picked this sucker off the ground and drove the trailer underneath. I still need to get quick connect wiring for the winch to work on the Intl. Instead I needed my Jimmy to supply power.

looks good . I would just add a gusset to the hitch piece you welded on to help triangulate it a bit from the direct pull direction .

My bro and I have actually decided that once a year we are going to do a wheeling trip, somewhere in the country. We had such a blast meeting in Moab this year and wheeling for a week, we want to make it a tradition. We are thinking of meeting somewhere in Idaho this year and doing something similar
Oh, and FYI. that blue crew cab you can see in a couple of those last pics....that is my new tow rig I'm going to build with an 8.1/NV4500 combo in it!! I purchased it in WA (where my bro lives) and he was kind enough to pic it up for me and keep it at his place until we can get it back to me in CO.

That'd be sweet! Your guys blazer bash pictures made me jealous, I need to get a tow rig for my blazer
It was pretty much the best wheeling trip we both have ever had! We wheeled 6 solid days doing 10+ trails and had little to no breakage on either rig, and the tow rigs/trailers performed as they should the whole time too. We don't expect to have a wheeling trip ever go that smooth ever again, haha

No, I am going to get some different ones with a better offset. So I am sure someone on here will want them for more of a classic look on a rig
