Just thought I would share what I have been working on in my spare time. Since I work offshore, my time is very limited, have to keep the lady happy so I can keep spending money,
Stand by for photos...
this is the truck after I dragged it home, didn;t come with a bed or wheels
It had a 454 with a sm 465/np 205, 10 front 8 lug, and a ff 14 bolt rear that somebody else installed (you can tell by the dirtdobber weld on the spring pads)
there is some rust in the floor pan, but the truck is pretty solid.
The engine was going to be used in a daully that a friend was building a couple of years ago and never finished, by using Desktop Dyno, it should put out around 450 HP and 550 ft. lbs. of torque.
the only thing left to do is take off the A/C compresser and find a dip stick. I have everything else inside my house in the back bedroom.

I took a lot of pics and had them on my new laptop, but it crashed and lost all the begining pics.
here is after the new suspension installed, the only thing I am going to do different is put the overloads back on the front and finish the steering.
The engine is in, but ran out of time before I could install the T-400.
Can't wait till Dec 13 (get off the tugboat), I am tring to do as much as I can before the end of Feb. The lady that I have to keep happy, well I knew I was going to be a daddy but just found out she is having TWINS !!!

I will take some more pictures and post them them by tomorrow, the reservoir mounts on the a/c bracket, since the last pictures i haven't had much time due to some personal problems but all thats behind me now, so now I can concentrate on getting gittin her done. The last time I had time off, I did get the engine/trans in, the front end on, found a bed for it and got it on, and the crossover steering installed.
So I just got off work yesterday and before I get anything else done, I am going to take some pictures a nd get them posted.

Hmmm... where to start....
well I was going to put some pics up of some of the things I have done since my last post BUT.... I have an X G/F that seems a little off camber... last friday she came up to the Lyons, Texas Post Office and didn't like the what she saw on my neck :wink1: (we been seperated since Jan 5th) and went a little crazy, clawing at my face and neck, she did pretty good job to and I was amazed at what the Doc. said about what grows under finger nails, (the scratches she left on my face and neck have a nasty infection) and well I hit her (just instinct) After I got away from the crazy B*t*h, I called 911, hoping they was going to arrest her, but just gave each one of us a citation. That afternoon, I went to Caldwell and spoke to the County Atty. and got a real good look at her arrest record, DAMN, this broad is nuts, she has been arrested every place she ever lived and its all for domestic violence and assalt. As of tomorrow, a protective order has been filed and all of my valueable stuff have been moved to a safe location where she cant get to it (its under video servalence). Well anyways, if I get a chance, I well try to get a pic or two, (the truck is on a trailer at my Brother in laws business) and get get em posted fer ya....in the mean time, I have to get some Neosporin on these sores)

Dang man! Sorry to hear about all the crud with the ex, sounds psycho, hope you're all right! Nice looking truck, sounds like a good build! A lot cooler than my junk!

Out if it all, I still wished I didn't hit her but had to protect myself and like I said, It was just instinct. sad thing is all the time wasted moving my stuff to its new home in Waller, Texas. It is a little Psycho... Now I know why she can't live in a place longer than 2-3 years with out moving..
  :yikes:

In spite of all the B/S in the last 10 days, I did manage to get 2 pictures posted....
I do think I need to straiten out the rear shackle angle just a little...
