My build

sweet ride.:wink1:

sorry to hear about the trouble with your ex. I thought mine was crazy:rolleyes:
you shouldnt feel bad about hitting her. before I get flamed take into consideration that I dont think it is right to hit girls but if you are getting attacked you do have the right to protect yourself and yes I too hit instinctively when I get attacked. if some girl jumped on top of me and started scratching and hitting me I would prolly hit her back. not a hard swing to the face but maybe to the side or shoulder, just enough to get her to stop.

Are you just going to move the rear hanger back an inch to straigten out the shackle angle or what?

P.S. Was the crazy ex the one carrying the twins?

It was the one carrying the twins, but i found out she had lied about them also, she wasn't never pregnant, Talk about an emotional rollercoaster. On the plus side there are crimal charges being filed in 3 different counties from myself and some other people I know against her because of the things she has done.
Now for the good stuff-
The rear shackles, I will probley move them about 3" back, I think i am going to have the shackle sitting at a slight angle maybe around 20 degrees or so, but I have to wait till I am off work again. (I just got on the tug, so I have 28 days to go)

I kinda like your shackle angle the way it is. That is the way I had mine set up. I wanted it to sit lower and I got some crazy droop out of it. not a lot of compression but as low as it was sitting I didnt want too much.

My Build/T-case decision-what to do

Now with the bed and front end on, engine fired up and so on I need to install the transfer case when I get off of work. (remember I work offshore, and will be getting off at the end of the month) #1 I could go ahead and fab up a crossmember for the divorced 205, drive shafts will have to be made costing $$$$$ and probley not going to find a way to run a doubler later with a divorced setup or #2 install a 400/203 i have and use factory drive shafts for a little while, plus installing doulber will be easy when its time. (i already have the 400/203, and have (2) 205's that can be machined for the 32 spline input shaft) I know that running a 203/205 divorced set up would be some serious eye candy is it worth the money. OK now for the easy part, help me out
I have already installed a 2 WD 400 with a bolt in yoke but it wouldn't take long to change the output shaft.

the only update I have is I put in another T-400 with a 203, but didn't have a X-member. No idea on wheels and tires yet. I figured I would use the 203 till i install a 203/205 doubler later, this way its a little easier to get it moving around. The other 14B is going in as soon as I get off of work in 3 1/2 weeks with the disc brakes working (i hope).

cool man, cant wait to see it finished. Do you have an idea of what size tire range you are shooting for? I am leaning towards the 6" 52's up front, but i wanna clear 44's. How much trimming do you think is needed to clear with the 6"? Thanks for the info, and good luck on the rest of ur build.

I am planning for 42 in IROK or 44in TSL in front and 44 in Bogger in rear.In the picture the yellow lines is where I will be planning on trimming, but I will wait till the tires are on first.

Nice rig man! I can't belive i've missed this build this long.

Well between all the drama that i had for the last 6 to 8 months, I haven't been able to get alot done like I planned. I was hoping to be driving it a little by now. Since most of the BS is over with, I can now get some of it done, I met some people from the area i moved to (Magnolia Offroad Toys) that has been a great help so far. I will probley become a member when I get off of work in July. I should be up in your neck of the woods Labor Day...
