my dana 60 build up . . .

I thought the price was for a pair, so maybe it's not as reasonable but still way cheaper than the CTM.

If I was breaking ujoints, those would be a good option since you'd be trashing fewer axles too.

Quick question...With all the money spent on that 60. You could bought a set of rocks, done discs and had a hell of a lot deeper/stronger axle.

Just a though....

Thats what I would really love to do, but cant afford it. haha

Except it won't be streetable, you'd have to lift it sky high to clear the top loader pinion (really only buggies get by with low ride heights and rocks because they can build the whole vehicle around the axles) and they're super heavy. Oh, and in stock form rocks aren't the super stout axle many people consider them to be.

And once you start with Ouverson 2" 40 spline upgrades and maybe some of their bling 8 lug setups, lockers, brakes and high clearance skids it will make the 60 look like a budget build :p:

Didn't some of the AZ crew destroy a bunch of the superjoints?

One of the AZ guys broke one of the Longfield D60 CV joints (the really expensive ones) but I think there was some issue there (it was at too great of an angle, a snap ring wasn't all the way seated, I don't remember exactly but it was something like that, it was Travis whose SN is mtnman I think)
