My first Blazer: 1977 1-ton CL find

1988 still uses an NP208. 1989-1991 are the years they used NP241's.

I've been very happy with my 6.2/700r4/241 combo in my '90 K5. The 700r4 has a noticeably lower 1st and the OD, so better crawling and take off on the street along with lower RPM cruising. The narrow rpm range of the 6.2 really benefits from the 700r4. Also as mentioned the 241 has the lowest gearing available and mine has had no issues after many years of abuse.

This is pretty much exactly what I want to end up with, as far as the look anyway!
