My good bye 1 tons REbuild

I didn't get much done tonight, the other mohawk cover just needs to be welded out then its done.
These are my spring perches and plates, 3/4" plate, no u-bolts. Intsted I am going to have 6 1/2" bolts clamping the plates.

When I decided to do rockwells I also wanted to redo my twin stick set up so I pulled the 205 and made brackets to hold these bad a$$ (FREE) cable shifters.

I used to have a different sn , and truck , and alway's wanted to build a cage similar. I was amazed when you told me via Pm it was Pipe. But it holds up . That is all.

My exo takes a major beating, my truck has been on its side twice, gets used as a moble ramp and has bounced off countless rocks and trees. The only damage after 2 years of hard wheelin is alot of scratches and dents. Last trip out I got pined between two rocks and tweaked the back of my bed a little. It just adds character,

Dosn't look like alot of progress but I got alot done. Ram mounts made, spring purches welded on, and both mohawk covers done. All I have left to do before slingin em under the rig is bolt down the knuckles, drain plugs, drop in the diffs and a little clean up.

you've gotta be kidding. those are beautiful. *EDIT* found them online. those are awesome for the price. fixes all the problems with wheels and brakes.

another *EDIT* just got off the phone with Randy. WOW! I think I need rocks now. He's great to talk to. knows his product, knew all the specs off the top of his head. admitted his website is not up to date but spent as much time as I needed answering all my off the wall questions.

how come your not using u bolts??

I know how the plates will work, but wouldn't u-bolts be more streamlined for going over rocks, and other such things that like to grab sharp edges??

not knocking your build or anything, I am curious, because I want to do this...

M-1028, you must have a beat D60 left over now. I'll come drag it away so it doesn't clutter up your shop. I'm helpfull like that.

Sorry, couldn't help myself. Rocks are from another planet (mars?) compared to my 10B front (venus?).
