I head up to the Bishop, CA. area twice a year to camp, fish and relax. A friend whom I haven't seen in 10 years came out from Arkansas and met me up there with his two little girls. We had a blast. Click HERE for the pics...
We ate a lot of trout on this one. We usually had a mixture of chicken, trout and a little steak along with our veggies. Those are German Brown trout. Only caught one Rainbow the whole trip. The rest were wild browns. /forums/images/graemlins/woot.gif
Native Rainbows are pretty tastey too but softer in texture. I like a strong gamey taste with a nice hard texture. We threw most of our catch back. We kept the bleeders for dinner. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
