Cool truck. If you need parts let me know my friend has three of them and more M715 parts then he knows what to do with. Do you belong to MVPA? mike

yeah, im an mvpa member.
your buddy doesnt have an antenna mount for it, does he?

im going to sell the drivetrain from the wc53. its all working

first off you suck! :haha: just kidding i have wanted one of those for about 5 years now. ( since i first seen one) you know gmc made a simular truck? i know where one is but cant get ahold of the owner. yours looks very clean.
second if the drive train is good why replace it with m715 stuff?

can i borrow it on the now return plan when you get done?

I was wondering what had happened to you.
Truck is looking good.
Im still kicking myself for passing up on the m715.
How are you controlling the 4l80 ?

Very cool! I love it. My dad has a wc-56 and a m-715.

Here's a little inspiration for you, this is my brother's 1951 dodge M-37

got to finish the side windows, wood floor, and leather seats and interior....

still have some sheet~metal wort too...

Wow, that is a cool piece of old Detroit military rolling stock. Nice job of fixing it up and not butchering it. I've seen some repowered, re-axled old trucks and they have lost all their nostalgic characteristics. Your rims are a good choice and match the truck well. Wish I had one of those.

thanks. i have to have the modern seats recovered in maybe a baseball glove leather color

i have tried to keep it looking as original as possible while updating it for safety/reliability and useability.

Some nice pics at the links you have. I also like those other rims you have mounted on the WC. Both go with the vehicle well. Well I can only envy you and your project.

thanks, the other rims are regular chevy aluminum 8 lug painted green, and now for sale....
