The intention was to catch a little air from a hole and try and please the crowd a little. I didnt like my line and knew it would turn me sideways some but figured I could correct for it. I also decided not to hit it as hard as I originally was thinking. All I know is I steered left but saw the bank and people and just shut it down and gently tipped on my side. But the impact of the tire hitting ground appearantly was violent enough that it bent the frame worse and broke the aluminum bellhousing all the way around.

Yeah, that snap sound was brutal. Kinda like watchin a video of someone falling and breaking an arm or somethin haha.

Im thinking the snap may have been the bellhousing. Weird thing is that everything else was intact.... crossmember, mount, drivelines... usually the mount or adapter would take the impact and break. But it was a 32-spline version 465/205 with the newer different style mount, unlike the old figure 8 adapters that usually break an ear off.

I think the comment about a truck being a monster was Wayne talking about a different rig that happened to be caught on the audio as I was about to go.
