My 87 is my third Mustang. I have also owned a 66 and a 68. By far I like my Fox Stang the best.
I was actually looking for a 3rd Gen Camaro when I bought my Stang. I was looking to find a 1987 20th Anniversary edition Camaro to restore. But was either finding junk or $12,000 cars that needed resto work.
One day I went out to breakfast with my wife. We met a friend of her's and her friends husband. The girls were yakking and so us guys started talking about cars. I told him what I was looking for. He said I should check out his Mustang. Wasn't really all that interested but I dont like to miss a chance to drive a nice car.
I drove it and forgot all about a Camaro. I was so impressed I bought it on the spot.
I am only the second owner and I have my Mustang's complete history from when it was bought off the showroom floor from Sunnyvale Ford (CA) It was totally stock when I bought it. I have tried to keep it looking that way as much as possible and still make it a better & faster ride.
