My nephew's "new" 74 blazer.

Maybe you guys could go with a full manual valve body and put a ratchet shifter on the floor... it'd save a lot of money and give you better control.
I'm excited to see what you guys come up with for this build!

oh ya I bet your dash board is all cracked and brittle... so there!

Damn I hate you west coast guys!:D (joking) Wow that is an awsome deal !!!

Well, there has not been much done to this lately since we got it. It has moved about to three times. Now it has been sitting by the side of my dads home where MY blazer should be. There hasn't anything done because my nephew expects his dad and me to buy and work on his stuff. He was supposed to get a job the pay some of the work. My brother has thought about selling the blazer because of my nephew's lack of a work ethic.
Well, Anyway he has worked enough to trade to get the tranny work started.
For a Christmas gift, I bought him an EZ wire harness, so we can at least get started on something.

Tell him to get his butt in gear so he can bring his junk out to play with us. We're going to be there for New Year's... you guys going to be around?

We're planning on it, but I have last minute prep to do on my blazer. I don't know when I'm going to get that done.

Cool, we're planning on rolling out of Fresno early Thursday morning. I'm meeting up with some people from my church to hang out for New Year's Eve but we'll be there through Sunday so Friday or Saturday if you make it out call me on my cell.

ill subscribe. Just like your build, ill wait and wait and wait... :D

Wellll, I may ask a mod to combine the two threads since we are combining blazers. This one will become the sand drag blazer.
We were trying to get it going for a race next week, but we are running out of time. There are two races we could make in October.

Even though we have been working for the last month, I never took a picture of the work we have done under the body. Remove the rocker boxes, clean and paint. What a pain in the ass.

Yesterday, we worked bracing the lighten core support.
