my new blazer is trail ready

Yeah I agree with TruckNutz that front driveshaft is gonna be hurtin. Maybe look into some shims for the front /forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif not sure how you correct that without screwing up caster/camber and all that stuff. Nice looking rig too by the way /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif /forums/images/graemlins/woot.gif

very nice very clean no rust rig you got there. i like it.

did you make your running board into a slider or are you not conserened with the rocks? /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif /forums/images/graemlins/peace.gif

Not many big rocks in MS but the nurf bars could take it, they are made from schedule 40 steel pipe with weld type 90's on the bends.

The front drive shaft has about a 20 degree bend. That's pretty steep but it has 1410 joints and I still have about 10 more degrees of bend before they bottom out.

I really really like that ram mount. /forums/images/graemlins/bow.gif I might have to palgerize your work a bit for that. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif Very nice work. /forums/images/graemlins/peace.gif

Here's a pic of the pitman arm before installation.

That's a really good idea, I'm surprised someone hasn't already done it. /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif Good thinking man.

I wish someone would make these . Would of saved me from buying a 2wd box , and save me from having to buy a pitman arm for the 2wd box . Lots of people could use this .

He may still make them, jstevenj = jkwoffroad (CK5 vendor/sponsor) :thumb:

Yeah totally own it . I would buy one now , I am a month away from my crossover . I don't know why no one does it or recommends it . The spline count is lower and there is no large nut , but on a 4wd box there is that retaining bolt that seems plenty strong . At least it seems strong for me wheeling in rocks .

Both boxes physically turn the shaft the same way , its just in the clocking of the arm the 2wd box gets used .

any other vendors want to take a stab at this? i need one and im seasons away from xover.

 Kert has a thread in the vendor forum about making anything.

Any reason you couldn't just......

Re-taper the existing pitman arm and convert to 1 ton TRE's? I don't have one of these to look at but does the esisting pitman arm have enough beef to do so? That would be alot cheaper.....

Gorgious truck  Nice job, good build. How much thread you got inside that draglink on the Pass side? Any issues with the DL hitting the crossmember when the Pass tire is stuffed?
