My new build...the "me too" short Crew Cab ~UPDATE~ not selling it

Damn Vinny :eek1: that sucks !! Well at least your finger was still attached when you realized it :D

Hope it heals quick, I want to see that rig at RC one of these days :D :waytogo:

Hope your hand is doing well. Stuff like that sucks in the middle of a build, great job on the pics and write up.

The stretch on the fenders looks great also I have been trying to find good pics of someone who did a job that well for a while. I think its now time for me to start experimenting with some junk yard fenders to get my welding back in check. Did you stretch the fenders on the bed also? a few of the image links wouldn't load so I may have missed it.

Well, I hope you have a speedy recovery.

I havent had a chance to do any work on the bed yet.
Need to shorten it about 16" but probably wont section the opening like I did on the front fenders.

How's the hand healing ?

Im going through physical therapy, and making progress.
Its a Painful and difficult process but so far so good.
Thanks for checking in

Hopefully you get back to 100% :waytogo:

After all I want to see this truck done, and I don't mean just pictures, more like at Rausch  :D

^^^ i like the rausch idea your truck is soo badass it would be awesome to see in action:bow:

Time for an update...
Docs say its time to start using my hand. Therapist gives me all these little exercises to do at home. So naturally I figure working on the truck would be good therapy.

My nephew came over to help cut down the bed. It's now a 5 foot shortbed

The frame?
Good eye, it will stick out about 3 inches after the bed is mounted. It will make a bumper center.

Thanks guys. It turned out just how I envisioned it.
There is still much to do, body work, hopefully paint, finish the fuel system, exhaust, and interior.

The rims are from Ion wheels model number 171
