My new half/tube doors

Actually, they would be very sturdy without the tubes. The steel skin I put on the top and put on the inside(since I completely cut the inside out) is actually twice as thick as the original door skin material. I put the tube work in so that when you are leaning out the door to look at your front tire line, you have something to lean on and hold onto :thumb:

Anyone know if the laws are the same everywhere else? I was just about to cut my door pins and make them removeable, but I wanna make sure it's not illegal here in MO.

I figure if I ever get to the point where my soon to be barn doors get the door treatment, then the roof is going to meet the sawzall also :thumb:
Muddytazz , I can see a chopped&bobbed suburban in your future :wink1: . I would love to make my haf door but with all the neighborhood cat's and my own cat's , they would get inside my rig and spay on it and my rig would smell like cat p*ss :eek1: . Those door's look awsome man  .

I'm hoping that this summer I'll be able to do the back 2nd seat set of doors too :thumb:

Couldn't someone just get a copy of the laws of Pa. I think I could make a lip like jeeps have if I could run without doors. I wonder what DOT's address is???

verry cool indeed :)

Why do people make these 1/2 tube doors instead of just removing the doors like on a heep?

I pull my doors of during the summer but it looks fugly. Half doors fill in the fugly parts and really clean up the look.
