Here are pics of my BRAND NEW tool box thanks to 79BRUISER. Thank you man for posting about the deal!!!!

Yeah, like I needed another box :haha:. I'm trading in this Kennedy I bought about 10 years ago, I paid a grand for it new, it has really good Roller bearing drawers, it's an 8 drawer box. I was going to trade my old Waterloo in but it's bigger then the Kennedy so I figured I would keep it instead. It had roller bearing drawers aswell. Hetre is the new beauty. It's a 54" wide X 24" deep X 39" high.

Major garage re-organization comming real soon! Man I have no room!

I like the color and the box as well. Question though is did you only have a certain amount of choices on which box for the trade in deal? If not this box is $45.00 cheaper but much LARGER. http://buy1.snapon.com/catalog/item...group_ID=20013&store=snapon-store&dir=catalog

He said or bigger, I will contact him and inquire. I pretty sure the KRL I got is their top of the line box series, the box in the link is their KRA series. Still an awesome box but just not their top tier series. I have the KRL series 96" but it's much deeper the the one in the link, it was $8500.00, Ofcourse I paid alot less, $4500.00. He said the new model of my big box goes for over 10K now. Not sure what spicifically the differences are between the KRL and KRA series are though. I still got a great deal, besides I can't fit a bigger box in my garage. Hell I don't know how i'm going to fit this in, but I will figure it out one way or another.

Looks great. Good to know someone that got to take advantage of this deal.

Happy to help.

Do you have some kind of specs on the build of each box? I'm curious what and or where the differences are. I'm in no way able to buy a box anytime soon but at some point i would love to have a new Snap-on roll cab in the blue flavor and the classic 96 has the room i'm looking for.

I will try to get spec sheets from my snappy guy next week.

Don't get me wrong, the Classic 96 is a nice box. I got a good deal on my orange box, thats why I traded. Otherwise I would still have the blue classic 96.

I was going to order a Snap-on catalog but the website says they don't have any. Their website don't give specs on the size of each drawer which is nice to know (i thought they used to have it listed). Guess i'll look for the local Snappy guy and see if he has a current catalog i can have.

I just bought another Box from Snap On for the same deal. It ended last Sunday but my snappy guy bought two more boxs under the wire for this deal so he could move a couple more boxs. He gave me an aditional $300.00 in tools for buying a second one. It works out to 51% off for the second one. Instead of tools I am getting the butcher block top for one of the two boxs I bought. There on sale right now for $331. I will just give him the 31 dollars and have a really nice top for it. Gets delivered next Thursday, will post pics when I get it. I got a Red box this time. They have a new Red powder coat that call Candy Apple Red. It's not the Traditional Snap On Red, it's a deeper Blood Red. Looks really nice. I could have gotton another Matching Blue box but I wanted something different. I should'nt need to buy any more boxs for the rest of my life. :D

Nice, You can never have enough storage space. Your right, those two boxes should last you for life.

4x4 high, I have the catlog for the classics on PDF if you want it shoot me your e-mail

My woman was not as quite about this box as the last one :doah:. It's easier to ask for forgivness then permission right :D

I don't know the specifics on specs with the Classic Snappy Boxes, but in my own line of 4series boxes, they have lower weight capacity drawers and lighter sheetmetal throughout the box. As I understand it that is the same with the Snap On box. They also don't have as nice a trim, or options. And the KRA boxes are made in Canada, not the USA.
