!My New Truck! 1974 project

That's ok, any money I made off the sale went to pay for my cel phone bills........:D Just kidding you. You will have a good time working on it, but it will be a money pit just like all the rest of all of our projects. But you have a great resource in CK5 and more than enough enthusiasm and energy..... First thing I'd do is yank that NP203, and maybe the tranny, and swap in a TH400 or 700r4 or SM465 and NP205. The engine should last you a while.

I got a really clean smog free /minimal rust shell to start with from you, that runs really sweet, its WAAAay better than i expected from the pics. Its like 10 times better than i ever imagined.Super sweet deal on the thing, im just gratefull. I really really pressed you hard on the thing i know,you and poor poor Dremu:haha: :D and you both came through with no baby games and lies, no hidden suprizes and stuff about the truck, no BS ,,and just delivered what you SAID you would deliver ,BEFORE scedule,, and nothing less.You got BUSY on the registration, all the stuff, you kick ass man, and from me thats sayin something! :bow: :haha:

Its a good starter truck, the shock has worn off and im looking for parts already :)

yeah thanks! I haven't had a tour of our goofy state in a while, I think I got my site seeing in from yesterday.:mad: :laugh:

I liked the K5, not bad. Motor sounded good. Almost made me think about trying to find an early K5 like that, except I would want a half cab, not the full convertable.

Welcome to the early years..... Sounds like it's in great shape. I got mine for a grand but it needs carpeting & new weatherstripping/seals. and mine was from my cousin....
