I was going to add a 4 barrel and headers but I think the engine will stay as is. I will fix the ac, add a hidden radio, swap in 3.23 and a posi, sway bars and down the road 496 that looks like a stock land a 5 speed.

Fixed the choke, check the dwell and put some lighter springs in the dist for more advance sooner. 12 int 35 total 14 vac for 49 or so cruising. It will power brake the tires now.

Also ordered a desissicant kit for the vir in the ac system. The old compressor is locked up but it came with a good used one. I plan on flushing it really well and then vacuuming it out and trying 152a.

I loathed those bench bumpers.... too bad it don't have swivel buckets in it!

30k miles? What's the story behind this one?
It was a buddies aunts. I guess she didn't drive a lot. The oil is clean as a whistle and so is everything else. The buddy's wife didn't come like it so he sold it too another friend who let it sit two years so that now it is mine. My wife still has the 1974 Malibu classic 2 door she drove to highschool that I will start working on if I ever get a building built.

I thought about cutting and tucking them but for now they will remain as is. I love swivel buckets.
I had a 74 Monte...454/T400 car...great "personal luxury" car...a nice solid car, and heavy....had them swivel buckets in it. A great idea I thought!

Is this where one of those irrigation engines is going!? I mean uhh race engines

When I saw the tittle I knew immediately this would be getting a 6.2 diesel. There is no other way anything else would suit "old man/DD" car.
