hey guys...i sold my 85 last summer and all my toys for that matter, to buy a house. well that hasnt worked out and i missed my blazer so bad. a friend and i drove about 700 miles a couple weeks ago to look at some m1009s. they were junk!! then about 15 miles away sat this beauty and im back in love!! this mechanic up the road has owned it for about 20 years. he rebuild the tranny less than 1k miles ago, recovered the seats, removed the carpet and put in a rubber mat, new dash pad, and had it painted. there is some surface rust and the inner fender under the battery are rusted and gone mostly but that is about it. i am amazed that even the little things like cig lighter and windshield washers still work after 30 plus years. i plan on fixing the radio so i can use my ipod or iphone, 33" tires, and repainting the console... enough rambling, here are some pics.
