Hey Im planning on doing some 6x9's where you have your rear kappas. My K5 is not with me right now but do you remember the back spacing there? Those kappas are 2.2 mounting depth.. Did they touch the back? My 6x9's are 3 3/16. Wondering if I will need to space/pod them out.

hi sorry for the delayed response.. The space there is limited . it is 2 7/8 at the very top by the bed rail . and in the middle it shallows out to about 2 3/4 the rest of the way down . sounds like you will need to build up a spacer or pod as you had thought.
