i too have noticed a slack in quality builds....though this could be because most of us have built rigs and now are just wheeling them....
There are still some sweet builds going on, Greg72's 9" with mog portals for example. It just seems to be all the same bolt on stuff, I want to see someone backhalf and tube the rear frame or something new

thats why i like pirate cus i can go in the yota section or samurai etc. cus they all have new and cool ideas often. a TON of the yota guys put all chevy stuff on their trucks too which is also sick to look at and aget ideas. just by looking at the yota section ive gotten the urge to build a small crawler that is chevy so im gunna get a chevy luv and build up eatons and just trick it out. and on the subject of newbies, all the people that post dumb crap on pirate ward them off so they just come and OVERFLOW the ck5 forums its annoying at times

Many of the Pirate folks are from CA. Most of us CK5ers have real winters to deal with. We can't all live in NorCal.

hahahah i got what youre saying but all the dudes that started pirate have a real chitty winter to deal with im about 50 minutes from the snow line where i am and moved down here from the snow about 13 years ago but im going back soon
