I got up early this morning and drove a pretty good distance to get to this parts yard. I struck out as far as finding anything, so I turned it into a photo op...hope you don't mind. What sucks is that most yards close at 12:00 on Saturday so you only have time to get to one.

Was that green tri-five a Napco truck? 4wd? Can't tell from my phone.

Looks like a 58 and it is 2wd. Sure isn't much left of those things.

So what did you end up getting

Nothing...I didn't see anything I could use for my 74 Blazer...just thought the old trucks were kind of neat...it's sad really...a graveyard. These have obviously been picked over for many years.

It was neat to see that Yellow Gold one near the bottom...I think that one is my color...

heck, ain't been a boneyard in Joysey like that in 20, 25 yrs...

looks like there might have been a pair of usable factory fenders there for your 74... I'd rather spend a little blasting time, etc on them, than run aftermarkets... actually, that's what I did...

on that 74 blue pickup...the bottom was rusty...I didn't see anything that looked as good as your coast guard fender

l

There are several of them in rural Alabama...the problem is finding them...they aren't even listed...you have to ask...it's all word of mouth. You will notice though....not one Blazer.

i lucked out on my fenders.. whole clip for 200... the fenders where perfect.. inner's trashed.. the support was rotted on the bottom, but i did a custom new lower sill to it anyway..

Shoulda snagged some emblems and grills. Looked like there was a nice '74 GMC grill in your pic's. Older GMC grill's aren't re-popped, so it's NOS (good luck) or good used. For obvious reasons good used are getting much harder to find too.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!! :doah:

hmmm...wonder if they would sell me the shark

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!

I haven't been on the ride yet...they can't do this. Amity needs summer dollars...they need to do whatever they need to do to keep things safe but those beaches need to be open...

Crap...how can I get down there before January 2nd....
