My truck was parked outside my apartment last night around 11:30pm and when I stepped out around 10am this morning it was gone. The truck is a 1990 Chevrolet K5 Blazer as you probably know and it is silver with silver interior. It's a clean machine and has a huge Ramones decal on the rear window in white lettering and Not For Sale signs on the right and left rear passenger windows. When I last parked it, it was missing the header plugs because I didn't finish changing the gaskets from the day before.... so this beast is loud! It's running 350hp with no mufflers right now. It's probably still here in Chicago and these trucks are known gangbanger trucks.
If you have any information at all please call me no matter what time it is. I would love to find it rather than collect the insurance money. My number is (312) 925-8699. Look at the picture below. It looks just like that, but my wheels are stock and not black.

I feel for you man, i had a blazer stolen about 7 years ago.

If you did not hear it start (with your loud uncorked exhaust) then i would guess that someone pushed it around the corner or they towed it. Have you checked with the local tow yards yet? How about the police?

I checked with the Chicago Police and they did not tow it away. Since it was on a city street and not a parking lot, no one had the authority to tow it away. It was a block away from my place and no one reported any loud noise last night. 4X4HIGH did you ever get your truck back?

I never seen one piece of my truck in the last 7 years. I think mine was stolen and taken to mexico and used as a drug runner. At the time mine was stolen that's where most trucks and SUV's were heading. The bad thing was i watched it drive away with nothing i could do about it since my other car was at my parents house. I did have 2 cops at my house within 3 minutes and it was never found.

Post on Pirate, too. Hope you get it back. I've had a couple cars stolen, it sucks big time. I got 2 of the 3 back.

That sucks, If someone stole my blazer i would be heart broken, and if i found the person who did it, I would be going to jail for murder. Good luck, I hope you get your truck back.

Sorry about the loss man. It could have been towed, theives wouldnt care, they can roll it around the corner and flatbed it. As stated above, if someone stole my blazer i would be heartbroke, and i would probably kill whoever stole it. 4x4high. Man to see it drive away, i would loose it, that sucks man, sorry

Dude that sucks
My girlfriend had her s10 stolen and my other buddies custom tahoe was stolen too, both were found within 10 miles of where they were taken from.
See if you can get some locals interested in finding it, REWARD money will make shady people turn on other shady people ;)

its a horrible feeling to walk outside and instantly feel that the world isnt right. if i was anywhere near you id help ya drive around and look for it.

although this does remind me that somewhere down on the bottom of my trucks "to do" list, is a little check box next to "install kill switch", and then always park that bitch in 4 wheel drive, with the wheels at an angle, or get lojack. although im not sure how i feel about being tracked by "the man".

course when its all said and done, if someone really wants to steal your truck, theyre going to. but it makes me feel better to make it as much of a PITA as possible for em.

Well I did get a little info. Someone from another car form saw the truck at 11:30 yesterday morning and I didn't discover it missing until 2:30. A neighbor had security cameras right where the truck was parked and told me I was welcomed to come over and go though all of the footage his 3 cameras caught. I wish the cops would work this hard, but as we all know the key to life it to do it yourself.

I borrowed my moms car and drove for hours looking for it even on really bad areas of the city... REALLY BAD. A friend of I suspect possibly a college student took it and parked it in the college lot. I have a friend that goes to that school with a key for the lot... we'll see what we can all uncover tomorrow.

Man I hope everything works out. Thats good that your neighbors had cameras.

Best of luck to ya man, I hope you get your truck back.

I'll forward the picture to some contacts in your area and have them keep an eye out for it. Good looking ride.

:(Hey, I'm sorry to hear that, bro. Hope everything works out! If you find the bum that did it, I'm not going to tell you what to do....just use your best judgement. I'd hate to have all this happen and then you get in "trouble" for it!
