My wife's 88' K5 done and gone, Welcome 87' Burb

I believe so... The current owner will be sending me photos of it this coming week. He is an older gentlemen and needs his son to take the photos for him to email...

The owner said the interior is as nice as the day it came off the assembly line! Garage kept it's whole life, meticulously cared for and not owned by a hill billy redneck or getto drug / hooker pusher... No offense to either of you but neither of you types of people keep your vehicles very nice LOL!

:eek1:Some how I'm offended and not offended at the same time. My rigs may or may not be kept nice! Just depends on which one it is. :pimp: :rolleyes: I get you though. When I look for a rig, what you described is what I find.

Can't wait to see the transformation. Keep the striping. It will make the rig stand out once lifted. Once the running boards come off the stripes won't look so old mannish:waytogo::popcorn::popcorn::popcorn:

It's been a while since my last visit to CK5 so I thought I would drop a quick line...
The suburban is a no go.. After driving out to see the burb in person I discovered it wasn't as nice as the photos lead me to believe. I low balled the owner just for the heck of it which he took a little offense to and we went our separate ways..

After giving a bit of thought to it I think I'm going to change direction all together... My plans now are to find a 1997-95 GMC or Chevy Crew Cab Dually Diesel... The plan will be to do another cummins swap, straight axle it, and lift it big enough to stuff a 35" Toyo M/T tire... I don't want to go to big for the sake of my family.

I have owned a few of these 88-99 GM pickups... Here are a couple photos of them...

The Black one: 1994 3/4 ton Chevy extended cab with a 9" Suspension lift from Full Throttle, and a 3" Body lift. 39.5" SS Boggers on 15X14 Welds. The truck had two Kicker Solo Baric subs, two alpine 1000 Watt Amps, Alpine head unit, MB Quarts Mids and highs powered by another 4 Channel Alpine Amp. Photos were taken when I was about 19-20 years old....

The Blue one: 1997 Chevy 1/2 ton. 6" Pro Comp lift, 36" PJones tires, and just a clean truck

The Grey, Black, Flame Truck: 1998 GMC 1/2 ton, 6" lift, 35" Super Swaper Trxus tires, and a whole lot of other crap... Photos coming
