I like the headache rack. How does it bolt to the cab? Does it use the bolts that would normaly hold the top on? I plan to do something similar with my K5.

no I welded it to the cab,I dont give a **** its just an old beater,I never drive it on the road, well some times a little bit,but I try not to don't want to get stoped by the cops,I never change the truck in my name yet.you could probably make something that bolts to the cab with the original holes, but more fabrication.I took the fast and easy way.

what did you do for a fuel tank filler cap? If you haven't come up with something, perhaps you could steal my design. My tank is part way through my floor, not sitting on top, but you could do something similar. I still need to build a lid. I used angle iron, 1/16" thick plate steel, a piece of tubing left over from my cage for the filler neck, and chopped up the old filler neck for both the cap attachment and the air return line tube:

I took the original gaz tank and turn it 90 degrees so the gaz cap with face the back of the truck(for easy filling) and used the original goose neck filler tube what ever you want to call it and I shorten it cause it was to long,ad to shorten the big pipe and the small breather pipe, was kind of tricky to do but with a little imagination I got it.I also used the original strapes that hold the gaz tank in place.
